BHS Terms & Conditions

These BHS Terms & Conditions set forth the official policies of Broadway Hardware Store (“BHS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). They apply to all customers, transactions, services, programs, and interactions with Broadway Hardware Store.

 

By making a purchase, submitting a payment, enrolling in a program, or otherwise doing business with BHS, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

1. General Policy

Broadway Hardware Store operates as a full-service hardware and home improvement retailer. All products, services, programs, pricing, and availability are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Management reserves the right to make final decisions on all matters related to store operations.

2. Pricing & Payments

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Applicable sales tax and fees will be added where required by law.

  • We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, and approved electronic payment methods.

  • Broadway Hardware Store reserves the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any transaction at its discretion.

3. Online Payments

  • Online payments may be accepted for approved items, services, deposits, memberships, or program fees.

  • Customers must provide accurate and complete billing information.

  • Any suspected fraudulent activity, misuse, or chargeback abuse may result in transaction cancellation and denial of future services.

4. Sales Final & Non-Returnable Items

For safety, regulatory, and hygiene reasons, the following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Electrical products and components, including wiring, switches, outlets, breakers, and lighting

  • Paint, chemicals, adhesives, sealants, and hazardous materials

  • Plumbing items once opened or installed

  • Security cameras, CCTV systems, networking equipment, and related accessories once opened

  • Clearance, discounted, or special-order items

5. Returns & Exchanges (Where Permitted)

  • Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of purchase.

  • A valid original receipt is required.

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original, resalable condition.

  • Refunds are issued to the original form of payment only.

6. Special Orders

  • Special-order items require full payment at the time of order.

  • Special orders are non-refundable and non-cancellable once placed.

7. Tools, Equipment & Product Use

  • Products, tools, and equipment are sold as provided by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable.

  • Broadway Hardware Store is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper use, installation, or failure to follow instructions.

8. Advice & Information Disclaimer

 Any guidance or recommendations provided by BHS staff are offered as general information only.   Customers are responsible for verifying suitability, safety, and compliance with applicable building codes,   regulations, and manufacturer instructions.

9. BHS ProLine Program

  • Submission of a ProLine application does not guarantee approval.

  • Membership benefits, pricing, and terms may change at any time.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Abuse or misuse of ProLine benefits may result in suspension or termination of membership.

10. Limitation of Liability

 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Broadway Hardware Store shall not be liable for indirect,   incidental, or consequential damages. Any liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the product or   service in question.

11. Customer Conduct

 Broadway Hardware Store reserves the right to refuse service, deny transactions, or remove individuals   whose conduct is disruptive, abusive, or inconsistent with store policies.

12. Privacy

 Customer information is handled in accordance with the BHS Privacy Policy, which is available on our   website.

​

13. Policy Updates

 These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued business with Broadway Hardware Store constitutes acceptance of the most current version.
